"Great staff, if you are coming back a few days later with luggage, they will keep for you and move it to your asssigned room few days when you come back. Breakfast spread is good. Free shuttle to matsumoto station. But going there with huge luggagr can be a good workout."

What impressed me most was the incredibly welcoming staff, who made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. From the atmosphere to the little touches throughout my stay, everything contributed to a unique and memorable experience. "The Celecton is a nice, standard Japanese hotel. The rooms are small, but they are practical, very clean and amenities are good. If you want a hotel that is close to the Castle then this is a good one, but it is 10-15 minutes walk to the train station, restaurants, and the other attractions in Matsumoto. My room was facing the Castle but directly above a busy road, so it was quite noisy."

"2 minute walk to Matsumoto Station! Super convenient. The room was nice and comfortable. The staff was helpful and they provide travel items in the lobby if you need it. The only issue is that the shower curtain had mold. Otherwise the room was good."

"Staying at La Terra Resort was an absolute dream. The atmosphere, the perfectly curated property, and the delicious meals were all wonderful—but what truly made the experience unforgettable were the people. The team behind the scenes, along with the staff, made us feel so cared for and welcomed. One of the highlights was meeting Roshan, the owner. Learning about his colorful background and how La Terra came to be added such a personal and inspiring layer to our stay. He is a man of many talents, and if you’re lucky enough to meet him during your visit, don’t miss the chance to ask about the antiques on the property—each piece holds so much history and culture. Adding to the charm are the lovely dogs who are very much part of the family at La Terra. Their gentle presence made the property feel even warmer and more like home. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already excited to return. Hopefully one day soon, we’ll also get to experience Roshan’s other properties. "
