"Great find at a reasonable price compared to many others in London. Great transport links as less than a 5 minute walk to the Mile End tube station. Lovely staff on arrival who gave a very warm welcome. It isn’t a fully manned 24 hour reception though so be wary if that’s what you need. Pleasantly surprised by the triple room. It was really spacious and had lovely Temple spa toiletries. Fully equipped with everything you need, if I’m being picky, I didn’t like the colour of the walls as found...

"Lovely place. Just the hallway leading onto our room smelt of stale smoke. I'm sure there's probably regular workmen who use the rooms as digs and probably do smoke in their rooms, no smell once in our own room. Lovely place and would stay again "

"We cannot say enough good things about The Hayden! First, the staff is extremely kind and helpful. They truly make you feel that they love having you stay. The bed is extremely comfortable and the shower is amazing! Though the rooms are adjacent to the pub, you do not hear any noise. The pub food is excellent! The coffee is fantastic. The location is very convenient to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. It is a very short walk to Paddington Station and other Tube stations.Be sure to go to BEAM...

"Lovely staff, lovely room but total utter disaster of a stay!!! I’ve travelled ALOT! This has to be the worst room EVER!!!! What seemed like right on top of a karaoke bar! I had earplugs but you could still feel the base thumping through the floor until midnight! I may aswell have gone down stairs & tried to sleep on the dance floor!!!"

"The room was basic but everything spotless. I paid more for an ensuite and this was well appointed and clean. My only gripe would be that the floor in the bathroom was carpeted. There were a few loud noises due to plumbing and the age of the property which could upset light sleepers. However, the staff were friendly, check in was easy and for the cost of other rooms in the area this inn is good value for money. "
