"Grand hotel Piazza Borsa was an amazing hotel. The room was almost as a mini apartment , big and spacious with a large bathroom with all the amenities. The lounge area , first floor , was like a small courtyard, where you could order some drinks and snacks and relax in between sites’ visiting. The breakfast was very generous and the servers very attentive. Definitely will stay again here when we visit Palermo again ."

"Very clean, well maintained property. Breakfast was excellent and there was a good choice of evening meal which was good value for money. The location and views were amazing. Room servicing was a little erratic, but a minor issue for us. Staff very polite and helpful."

"Beautiful hotel with a great location to historical Palermo. Easy to walk to all sites. Our room had a nice view of the promenade along the sea. Dining menu is somewhat limited but delicious. Terrific staff. Highly recommend."

"The ground floor lounge spaces and its bar always seemed deserted, and there is a strong smell of Ortigia room scents throughout. The heavy-handed interior design overwhelms the more classic beauty of the original palazzi. We are architects, so this kind of poor design is more offensive to us than most. We finally got help with the AC, which had been turned off in our first room, and the young men "helping" us turn it back on were surly and laughing at our apparent stupidity in not being able to find the tiny black button on the tiny black thermostat. So, several hot and uncomfortable nights spent before solving that mystery. It's a great location with good array of breakfast choices, but I would not go back here."
