"We arrived at 5.15pm and found the doors closed and a sign on the door with a telephone number of the owner to call for arrivals after 4pm. "Unique Art Nouveau home that is beautifully decorated! Right on the bank of La Meuse River. Muriel (the host) was wonderful and very helpful with advice (where to eat, where to visit, etc.) We will definitely go back next time we visit Namur!"

"A stopover enroute from skiing in Austria to home in Scotland. A wonderful choice in a quirky bed and breakfast near Gembloux in Belgium. The wonderful collection of antique items and furniture adds to the general feel. Can only recommend highly."

"The one word that accurately sums up this place is "disappointing". The pictures were obviously taken with lighting that hid or obscured the poor condition the walls and parts of the house were in. The shower was so tiny that I had to use it hunched over almost 90 degrees. There were multiple sockets that were closed off with just duct tape, and the kitchen was in serious need of repainting. "Our stay at Pierre and Martine's farmhouse was wonderful! The view from the backyard out into the pasture's is breathtaking and the kindness shown to us and our family was delightful. We enjoyed day trips to Brugge, Chimay, Dinant, Namur, and Bastogne. Also, don't miss Maresous Abbey a short ride away."
