"Lovely old coaching inn. Check in was friendly and we were shown to our room. Rooms recently refurbished with very plush furnishings. We had a superior double. Lovely little touches like bottles of water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, great toiletries, even a pillow spray. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Like that they have kept the tradition of the building with pictures of the historical person and a description. Would stay here again if visiting Godalming "

"A beautiful room with 2 very comfortable single beds. Actually, this is a tavern with only 4 rooms to let. Should stay for a few days to enjoy the local foods and drinks."
