"This hostal is in the city center, the staff was amazing, the facilities are very clean and maintained. The room had a small fridge and air conditioner and the room and bathroom were spotless! The only downside was parking, however there’s a public parking lot about a quarter a mile away. "

"We stayed here for a week and had an absolutely exceptional experience. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, and the whole building was kept to the highest standard of cleanliness. The standout feature was the beautiful garden, full of gorgeous plants with both sunny spots and plenty of shade, along with a very clean and inviting pool that was perfect for cooling off. What really made our stay so special was our wonderful host. He was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond when we had some car issues by ringing around local garages and helping us get everything sorted. He was also very knowledgeable about the local area, from things to do in and around Álora to hidden gems further afield, and his advice really helped us refine our itinerary for the week. On top of that, he was warm, kind and easygoing, which made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived, even when we got there very late at nearly half past one in the morning. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening and it was fantastic. If you do not want to venture into Álora, which also has a great choice of bars and restaurants, this is a perfect option after a long day of travelling. We had a car but it is also really conveniently placed for the train station, so it is ideal for people who do not have a rental for the week. Overall this was a perfect stay with a brilliant mix of comfort, beautiful surroundings, and the most wonderful hospitality. We could not recommend it highly enough"

"Very comfortable apartment, top floor with good views. Parking was very easy (wide entrance) and felt secure. Good location, very short walk to the Alcazaba, short walk down into town. Views from rooftop was beautiful. Only thing to note was that a) cleaners in the morning were loud & came into our room with knocking and b) likely because we were on the top floor, the wifi was weak."

"Great hotel for a 2 star. I think it deserves 3! It's nice to be welcomed by an actual person unlike many places nowadays. Receptionist was lovely & spoke great English. Hotel is very clean & well-maintained. Romms are comfy, great bathroom & shower. Fantastic location also."
