"A cool house with a 70/80's retro vibe. Very clean! Nicely appointed kitchen with most everything you need. The stove took a little getting used to and the refrigerator in the pictures is not what's there. They could use some new pillows, but thats minor. What's there is just a standard size refrigerator.Very comfortable and quiet. We spent a lot of time on the dock and raised deck above the dock. Beautiful place to watch sunsets. Lots of recreational gear and the floats were perfecting for just hanging out in the water.We are looking forward to our next stay there."

"We had a fantastic stay at this Lake Gaston property. The house is beautifully maintained, very clean, updated, and extremely comfortable for a larger group.The kitchen was especially impressive—very spacious, well equipped, with two large refrigerators and a super convenient icemaker. We cooked dinner for our group every night and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable with great beds, and the cozy living room was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day.Our favorite spot was definitely the dock. It was a little cozy for our larger group, but the location more than made up for it. The house sits directly on a beautiful, calm bay, which made spending time on the water incredibly enjoyable and peaceful.Communication with Alan the owner was impeccable from beginning to end. He was responsive, helpful, and made everything very easy. Check-in was so smooth and straightforward that it honestly felt like we had been there before.Overall, a great Lake Gaston property in a wonderful location. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely consider coming back!"

"We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! This home truly had everything you could possibly need for an amazing lake vacation. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found the perfect spot.The lake amenities were fantastic—paddle boards, kayaks, floats, a private dock, and the newly added stairs to the dock were a major PLUS as it made it so easy for the elders to get in and out of the lake! When we weren’t outside, the game room provided plenty of fun and entertainment for everyone.The house was incredibly comfortable and spacious, with four king-size beds, which was a huge plus for our group of 5. The kitchen was also exceptionally well stocked with quality pots and pans and utensils—something you don’t always find in a vacation rental!What really stood out was how thoughtfully everything was provided. The owners clearly put a lot of care into making sure guests have everything they need to relax, have fun, and feel at home.We had an unforgettable stay and would absolutely come back in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for the perfect lake house with incredible amenities, comfortable accommodations, and everything you need for a memorable getaway, look no further—this is the place! Highly, highly recommend! "

"My family of 6 enjoyed our vacation at this home in Henrico, NC. The house and amenities were as described and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. I very much appreciated the linens and towels (not counting lake towels) being provided as well as paper goods. The view from the screened in porch was a popular spot for us for coffee in the morning and beverages of choice in the evenings with gorgeous sunsets. We also rented a boat during our trip and the covered dock was easy access and comfortable for hanging out. There is also a nice fire pit with new chairs, but it was too hot during our stay for a fire to be enjoyable. Our hosts made sure our check in went smoothly, which it did. I am well satisfied with the house and the hosts, and would suggest you give this house serious consideration if you are looking for a great vacation experience at Lake Gaston."
