We drove to Margaret River to see the spectacular beaches and to do some wine tasting and little did we know that the Margaret River Pro Drug Aware surf competition was on - so one morning we parked up really early at 7am and watched the ladies surf the whole day! It was absolutely phenomenal! And the event was for free too :) awesome right?! Also very stoked to have taken a photo with the winner of the men's competition: De Souza. We happened to be at the right time and the right place! Absolutely stoked! I decided to share one of Ben's photos today - as I'm totally in love with his style. Enjoyable break at "The Break"

All together it was a good choice for our multigenerational family, we enjoyed the spacious rooms. Being able to walk next door to the excellent Common Tavern was a bonus. The nearby beaches and the White Elephant Cafe are favourites as is paddling the SUP on the Margaret River. We all enjoyed our "Break"

Town house close to the beach

Good location if you want to be close to the beach. The bathroom and kitchen need a make over. No views and we didn’t have a balcony. Fridge and kitchen was smelly and the hot plate didn’t work.

Fantastic family escape

We were thrilled to arrive and find that the house was even better than we imagined. There was everything we needed and more. The location was quiet and beautiful and close enough to everything we wanted to do while we were in this magic part of the country. Finishings and decor were gorgeous and we felt instantly on holiday. We will definitely stay again!

Badly in need of some TLC - peeling paint, broken sockets hanging out of walls, holes in the fly wire, broken springs in the couch etc. Also sold as family friendly and not sure I’d agree given the steep stairs (internal and external), the climbable rails overhanging the internal stairs and bedroom layout. Managers of the property doing a decent job with what they’ve got but we won’t be staying there again. Expect a lot more for the money and there are far better options in Gnarabup.

Perfect accomodation for families

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our family of 5 - probably the cleanest and neatest self contained accomodation I've ever stayed in. Plenty of room for everyone, lots of space for the kids to play. Beds were super comfy, bathrooms nice and spacious Great location too, only 10 mins to Margaret River and right near the beach

Accessible to the beach

I thought that the communication received from the staff was very efficient. They called us ahead to advise how to access the keys to the unit. When we entered the premises, we find it very clean and tidy except for a few doona covers hanging over the doors and also the kitchen. WIFI was reasonable. We had issues with hot water on the first morning. Had cold showers :( Staff was on the action as soon as he could and even came back to check. We were out most of the day so we came back to a fixed hot water system. No A/C in rooms though. Only in main living area. There are plenty of heaters and even electric blanket. in MASTER.

Over the 2 storey townhouse had everything you could need for a week away. Room had a bit of a musty smell, needed to open doors and windows on arrival to let fresh air in. Other than that it was good.

Little gem

The beach house was very peaceful. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need and more. There was a TV, DVD player and ample beds. The only down side was that we struggled to turn the gas heater on as we could not find instructions. We are not familiar with these flame gas heaters so, it was a bit tricky. Only two small pieces of soap were provided so it was lucky that we brought our own shampoo & etc. Apart from these couple of minor issues, we had a positive experience at the Break and would definitely return.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment

Very pleased with the apartment. It is very big and has a lot of amenities. The only bad thing was I did not receive the check-in code before arrival and had to incur roaming charges to call the manager, but the manager was very helpful. Overall highly recommended.
