"I had a wonderful week at this house with my family in September. The house is big and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. It is in the countryside which is very peaceful and quiet. Our party were all adults but this house is also perfect for families with small children. It has so many things - a pool, table tennis, games, basketball, boules, pin ball machine, space inside and outside to play. We went into the local village, Meyssac, each day to the boulangerie. It's less than 10...

"Nous avons passé 2 semaines reposantes dans cette belle propriété au calme mais toute proche du village Le Vigan. Nous y allions à pied en quelques minutes pour profiter des commerces de proximité, des animations très sympathiques sur la place du village. La propriété est très agréable avec un beau jardin fleuri, une piscine aux dimensions bien confortables, un super terrain de Pétanque… Enfin nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accueil dont nous avons bénéficié, chaleureux et attentionné...

"Beautiful historic property, surrounded by countryside yet short drive to Sarlat. House had everything that we needed. It was relaxing after a day sightseeing to sit by the water next to the old mill with a glass of wine. The hosts Pascal and Elizabeth made us feel very welcome. Many thanks for a lovely week."

"Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable entre amies.Je remercie le propriétaire pour son accueil mais aussi pour les bons conseils concernant les lieux à visiter dans la région. Maison d’été en pierre qui permet d’être au frais, lorsqu’il fait chaud.il y’a une salle de bains avec douche dans chaque chambre à l’étage. Très bien desservi pour les courses à quelques kilomètres. Il y a mille choses à visiter aux alentours. Je recommande et nous reviendrons pour passer un séjour au calme."

"Outside is beautiful - frontage & roof are perfect - but inside is disappointing. A gite standard of years ago. Loved the location - nice rustic, rural, old bread oven house in a beautiful area but basic shower & kitchen NO INTERNET (Description said it had Internet) & just French TV channels. There is not a Visitor/Guest book. Owner very friendly, welcoming and helpful. "

"We had an amazing time in Gourdon. The property was exactly as seen in the photos - and the location was perfect for exploring the Dordogne whilst Gourdon provided plenty of choice of restaurants, with a fantastic wine bar within a 5 minute walk of the property."

"La casa è spaziosa, con un bel giardino e spazi esterni. Letti un po' scomodi (materassi molto duri) ma nel complesso un soggiorno piacevole. Va notato che si trova lontano da negozi, ristoranti e supermercati quindi bisogna arrivarci attrezzati."

"Overall experience of the property: - Owners friendly, with a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival - Fantastic pool and a lovely garden - Superb location to visit all of the key areas / sights within the Dordogne Few points to note: - The stairs in the property are very steep, therefore, not suitable for young children or the elderly - The wifi didn't work very well and was intermittent - not a deal breaker but useful to have - Very hot upstairs as no fans or a/c - again not a deal breaker...

"your photos must be more than 3 years old... no parasol, the bane awning doesn't work and is ready to fall down. 2 teaspoons, 3 bowls, 4 garden chairs etc... for a rental for 6 people. First day, I cleaned for 4 hours SUPER when you pay for the service. Being allergic to dust in this house was complicated. Pool maintenance, nobody came, no net available... Thank you for contacting me to find a solution, you want photos I have!"
