Wonderful Property

Our stay was great! The host gave us all the information we needed, and the property was amazing. We spent plenty of time talking and reading out on the water while enjoying the view. This property is quiet and fairly secluded but also doesn't feel far from food and entertainment. We loved our stay and would recommend this location to anyone!

The house was exceptionally clean with all the amenities you'd need. We were only able to stay one night but would like to return for a longer stay. Very quaint and comfortable.

Beautiful spot on the water

Lovely stop over on our way to family. Beautiful home decorated for the holidays and had all the amenities we needed plus little snacks! We got to the a beautiful sunset off the dock and our twins got their own rooms and bathroom. It would’ve cost more to get two rooms at Williamsburg hotel. So happy we got to stay here! Would love to stay the week during summertime! Beautiful home and location!

Lovely waterside cottage

We had a great weekend here enjoying the gorgeous water view and yard filled with beautiful, large, mature trees. The cottage is decorated with a cozy yet updated feel, and touches like the well stocked coffee area, snacks, and extra towels made six of us feel right at home. Hosts were very accommodating and gave lots of options for nearby restaurants and markets. A sweet place in every way.

Gorgeous quiet property, clean and well appointed with additional small touches to make for a lovely welcome and stay (eg coffee to get started, shower gel/soap, clocks in bedrooms, nightlights, railings for stairs into property which was really helpful having my 87yr mother with me who has some mobility challenges). Wonderful (lit) dock to enjoy, watching the world (and egrets!) go by. Fabulous local country store nearby and a great central location for exploring the area. Very responsive host. Looking forward to going back!

Relaxing get away

This was the perfect welcoming and cozy house for our family reunion . We enjoyed having our breakfast and lunch on the porch overlooking the beautiful bay, kayaking on calm waters, sunbathing on the lounge chairs surrounded by beautiful /peaceful nature and just relaxing in the confortable living room. Our host was very helpful and quick to answer all our questions. She gave us great recommendations for delicious seafood meals.

Great stay at Nannie’s house

The description of the property does no justice once you arrive. It’s very quiet, as clean as can be, and everything that is listed is correct. There is now a beautiful new pier in the back yard for easy launching of the kayaks, which the kids enjoyed every afternoon. The owners were very easy to communicate with during our stay and were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Thank you so much for sharing this rental. My family loved being on the water and all were just overwhelmed by the rental. All have rented VRBOs before and all remarked how clean.
