"The property is exactly as shown in photos not a lot of room outside for the dog but it has a small fenced area so ok for little dogs. Very close to other houses but is quiet will need the car to get supplies. Surprised only one tv but loads of games for kids. Nice beds but a little hard. For the price it’s very expensive as just stayed at Waiheke and got a heated swimming pool and spa included for almost the same price Matakana is expensive and no beach views or country outlook. A little bit ofsun in the middle of winter

"We enjoyed being waterfront even though it was winter. We had amazing weather though so we enjoyed the deck at the back with all the different birds and views of the trees up the hill. The house was warm so didnt really have to use the heat pump much or the electric blankets on the beds. Would love to be be back to enjoy another break."
