"The Strathburn is a charming hotel. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We found it quite warm in the room likely because the days were warmer than we expected & there is no A/C. We were disappointed that there is no longer a restaurant for dinner in the evening. The staff was helped us to order pizza to be delivered to the hotel."

"The ladies on reception were so lovely. Friendly and very helpful advising on gpod eating places and places to visit. The bedroom was clean with very comfortable bed. Sadly the hotel is in need of tlc it showed the signs of great potential and could offer a wonderful eating and drinking venue if developed. The price was very reasonable given the standard of the amenities and a place to certainly use if only needing a base"

Attention to detail, cleanliness and comfort in addition to the superb location exceeded expectations. We booked dinner at the Pennan Inn which we can recommend. Extremely good value for money, I would highly recommend."
