"Great place to stay for a night or few days while visiting NYC. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You can check in early for a small fee and store your luggage before and after your stay if you want to explore the city, without lugging your bags with you. The building is generally quiet and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I would note the St James as one of my top choices for a NYC stay."

"The overall experience was a good 'minus'... the staff was helpful, location right in the middle of it all, restaurant off the lobby had good food and fun vibe....with that said, the room itself was lacking in a few creature comforts; 1.) it was small to the point that you couldn't even change your mind in it. 2.) there wasn't enough table, and countertop, space for incidentals and toiletries. The one table provided was the coffee maker area and not much else fit. 3.) the was no refrigerator so take home from restaurants sat and were, with no other choice, discarded the following day. 4.) The closet was unusual and I'll leave it at that. 5.) The power went out in our area and when I approached the maid outside our door about it she indicated it happens, with what I perceived as, on a regular basis. It was attended to within 25 minutes. 6.) There was no dresser so we had to mostly live out of our suitcases for the duration..."

"From check in to grabbing a cab to catch the train back home we thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at the Lexington! We enjoyed a hot breakfast our last day and that proved delicious and convenient. Complimentary water bottled water, lovely housekeeping and perfect location to our son’s apartment keeps us coming back. Plus we caught a great rate when we booked."

"La habitación está un poco vieja, la puerta esta caida,el aire acondicionado no se puede controlar, por esto está bien frío .hay que apagar manual.Las mucamas atentas y cervicales, El staff del front desk muy amable solo uno por la noche, le hice una pregunta por si vendia agua y me contesto altanero y malcriado que afuera vendian, cuando subia para el cuarto me encuentro con un Sr de mantenimiento y muy amable me dijo que tenian maquinas de hielo en varios pisos y que las cuales aparte del hielo daban agua 💧. Cuarto 316."
