"The property is old and unique. Very tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. It is on a main street, so there is noise associated with that, but they thoughtfully provided earplugs. Staff was very friendly and attentive. "

"Jennifer at the front desk is delightful. You will be warmly welcomed and informed of anything you need with her. Feels like a resort with many family friendly activities. Great location in Estes Park and close to RMNP. The Coffee and flavored water bar was a nice amenity. S’mores (free) by the fire at night and free taffy in the reception were fun extras that you don’t find elsewhere. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Clean towels daily were great. Overall a great stay in a beautiful place. We would not Hesitate to stay here again! Thank you Jennifer! You’re an asset to the company!"

"We loved the location. It was wonderful to sit outside and see the mountains. I would suggest that they keep the propane tanks filled for the two fire pits located on the patio area though. That would of made for a great place to sit and just look at the mountains and watch the sunset."

It caters to those seeking a comfortable base camp for adventures in the Rockies and in town My wife and I imagined the lobby 70 years ago was filled with people in flannel shirts and khakis planning their day hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park. Today, its a fun mix of families and couples seeking some much needed connection with nature. Gripes are few. Shower water pressure could be better but it’s a minor complaint. Food and drinks were great and there are plenty of places to hang out on the patio to relax after a day of hiking, sight seeing, dining, and shopping. "
