Not only has the outside of this complex been refurbished, but inside your vacation home, you'll be treated to a slew of new upgrades including a Samsung smart TV, the bed (including the bedding), shiplap walls, and a totally renovated bathroom. The well-appointed kitchenette features its own enhancements, as well as a new microwave, in addition to the mini-fridge, small oven, coffee maker, toaster, and two-burner stove (no dishwasher).

Additional amenities include access to a community coin-operated washer/dryer.

B2 was beautiful! Perfect location with easy access to Crystal River and the beach. It had everything we needed for the perfect mom/daughter get-away. It was also a short bike ride in to Glen Arbor for some great food and shopping. We will be back and will check Tall Timbers B2 for availability first!!!

The condo unit, though small, comes with just about everything needed, except perhaps a night light. The location on the edge of the Crystal River is superb, surrounded by unsurpassed natural beauty, and steps away from the sandy shore of Lake Michigan. During our October stay, the salmon were running upstream, the leaves were at peak color, the sunsets over Sleeping Bear Dunes were gorgeous, and the gulls glided by in the sky. We even saw a bald eagle!

I stayed at this property for a few nights and it was perfect! I was so impressed with the cleanliness and high end finishes! This property was newly renovated and done very well! The unit had everything we needed and more! It is well stocked with a Keurig, pods, all necessary kitchen supplies including wine glasses and wine opener (A MUST). My friend and I were very disappointed to leave the extremely comfortable bed! I will absolutely be coming back!

We've stayed at many different condos at The Homestead. All have been excellent, however, Tall Timber B-2 has probably been the best yet. It is a great location, on the river and a few steps to the beach. Clean when we arrived, the furniture and bed were comfortable, the TV and streaming apps set up excellent. Especially liked that the instruction booklets for the appliance were at the ready so it was easy to get everything working. And the beach chairs - they are a real perk. I hope we have an opportunity to return to this specific unit in the future.

The only reason i didnt give 1 star is because it is easy and convenient. It would have been a beautiful place to stay but we avoided being in the room as much as possible. The room was filthy with dirt, dead mayflies (which looked like large piles of dirt) and huge spiders. We probably killed 5 in our 2 nights. This place made me realize, you get what you pay for.

We were not given the gate code to get in the parking lot before we arrived. We caused a back up for other guests trying to get in. We had to text vacasa and eventually got it, but it was a tad inconvenient. The place was small and simple, which we expected and was all we needed. However, it needs some major upgrades. Especially the bed which was uneven and made a loud thud every time you moved or rolled over. Massive beehive outside the back slider but it rained a good portion of our stay so we weren't out back much at all. Location was great!

Proximity to Crystal River and lake Michigan beach was amazing. Just steps away. Room was clean and comfortable. Kitchenette was very dated and not really suitable for making meals. The serenity and views help make up for lack of fully functioning kitchen. I have been doing VRBO's for the past 10 years and all correspondence on this unit was through an IT based system called Vacasa. This was one of the worst communication situations I have ever encountered. You never communicate with a real person and answers don't match your questions or comments. If this is the direction VRBO is going I'm not sure I want to do any more.

Great location in the Homestead resort. Studio style condo. Had to give three starts because of cleanliness and condition. First we stayed the last weekend in October and I don’t think anyone had been there for awhile. They were spiders in most all of the corners of the rooms. Laminate flooring is well worn in the main area. Bathroom - tile floor is old and grout is very dirty. Shower grout was moldy and shower curtain was also dirty. Kitchen - the combo sink/stove/refrigerator is cool put that refrigerator didn’t work. There is a newer mini fridge, but it doesn’t have an ice maker, so which was a bummer. Slider to beautiful little mini coastal water way for kayaking. Close to the pool and restaurant.
