"One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in both in terms of the gorgeous building with lots of original features and the owners. The owner was really kind and helpful with knowledge on activities and restaurants in the area, the room was fabulous! The best breakfast ever and the three course, Saturday night dinner, deserves a Michelin Star. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay, just what we needed to recharge our batteries. "A wonderful stay for 4 nights - the property is situated just out of the main area of Betws-y-coed which was brilliant as the town was crazy busy all the time - it was good to be able to get away. "Can see why it's been so warmly reviewed in the past! A very comfortable stay and we were well looked after. The review format asked for echo-friendliness so had to mark down a little for the use of small plastic bottles in the bathroom and the individual packaged portions of butter, jam, sugar and salt at breakfast. It's a difficult balance between freshness and disposable containers. "

"We were made very welcome, and so were our two dogs. Breakfasts were perfect (vegetarian) with lots on offer. The bed was comfortable and the landlady is very friendly and attentive."
