"The overall experience was nice and the host was very responsive. But the RV was not in the location that was posted in the listing. I was excited to view the sunrise out the RV door or view nature. However the RV has been moved closer to the owners property and the view is just the owners house instead. Im addition the second bedroom didn't have curtains on all the windows so not very private. But the price was right and if the RV was in the place as the listing I would definitely stay here...

A few of our family members felt uneasy staying in that room with how the surrounding neighborhood looked. Other than that, the house was very very clean and nice. "This was our second stay at Cumberland Cottage. The location is awesome... just a five minute drive from Opryland and surrounding attractions, and an inexpensive Uber ride to downtown Nashville, Lower Broadway, etc. The house is clean, comfortable and cozy, and has all the necessities and comforts of home. "I made the mistake of digging deep into reading the reviews AFTER booking the home (not my finest moment). Some doubt and concern began to sit in but it was too late to change our minds. All of that to say...we were pleasantly surprised to see that any of the previous complaints regarding this property have been addressed: brand new couch, clean sheets, etc. While they can't do much about the seedy neighborhood, we weren't too worried about it since the fire department was within eye shot of one...
