"The room was clean. The food was great. The staff was helpful. HOWEVER, the bed in the suite was worn out. The mattress was so worn out that it was impossible to lay on your side. At the price of a suite, you'd expect a good bed. I don't think I'll be back."

"The whole staff were extremely friendly very very helpful being Canadians who don’t speak Norwegian we rely on them to help us with the parking. Also to help with the menu in the restaurant that was in Norwegian. I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a room at the top with the balcony looking over the water absolutely fantastic. A highlight of our vacation."

"We had a wonderful stay as a family of four with kids aged 4 and 8. The house is beautiful and cozy, with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The area is stunning, with wonderful views and the lovely, intimate Vestre Stabbestad beach close by. We explored some of the small islands by ferry, visited the charming town of Kragerø, and loved ending our days with beautiful sunsets from the wooden terrace. A perfect place for a family or couples holiday."
