"Incredible location right across from the geysers. Helpful staff at front desk. We spent the whole evening exploring that geyser area. Wonderful to just walk back to our room after. The hotel is basic but we didn't need anything fancy. Bed was great and so was breakfast. Yes you have to walk to the big hotel but we didn't care. Isn't far. We had dinner at the geyser food hall next door. Fish and chips were good. They stop serving hot food at 7."

"This was a perfect home base for us to explore Iceland. Walking distance to town, a mountain with a lake to hike across the road, quick drives to many spots allowing us to linger and savor Iceland. The kitchen was fully stocked, five bedrooms and two baths clean and welcoming. A large table for eating together and playing games but also enough space to spread out between the dome, outside seating, and the hot tub/sauna. I am thankful to our hosts for creating such a place and sharing it."

"Very cozy cabin with scenic view. Has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We slept very well on the comfortable bed. The horses in the pasture were amazing. If any questions or anything is needed, host is very responsive and helps quickly. Thank you for the stay!"

"Great location on the far side of Thingvellir National Park close to the new Laugarás Lagoon. Freya Farm is truly a family owned farm by a wonderful young family. They were so kind and the property is absolutely stunning. The owner took us for a short hike around their backyard to an amazing river. This is truly a hidden jem."
