"Good location, close to the train and town centre. Easy walk to Mcdonald’s and supermarket. Room is very quiet and comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time."

"This hotel was just a couple of blocks walking distance from the train station, which is one of the reasons I chose it. It was super easy to do our daily excursions with being so close to the train station. We stayed in a family suite.It was quite spacious and had every amenity we needed. I loved how the rooms had all of the toiletries included.So we didn't have to call down to the front desk.If we forgot anything. Our room was overlooking the mountain and the river next to the hotel which was great although the double doors to the balcony were through the bathroom, which was a little odd. The breakfast each day had many wonderful items to choose from including asian food which we love. I also loved the selection of teas that were available. There is a fabulous italian restaurant in town called Sapori, you will not be disappointed if you eat there! They have awesome Woodfired pizzas, as well as great pastas."

"Our “Classic Double Room” was so beautiful and spacious with many amenities including cozy bathrobes and a balcony with a gorgeous view, very comfortable bed, separate living room with huge storage space and an extra half bath. The decor was warm and inviting and very elegant with beautiful walls and furniture. The restaurant offers excellent choices and the breakfast buffet was expansive and delicious! I can’t wait to come again some day! "

"This was without a doubt our favorite stay in Switzerland. Sunstar Hotel in Grindelwald is simply amazing—the views, the atmosphere, the service, and the location are all outstanding. The staff made us feel so welcome, and the hotel itself has a warm, inviting charm. But what truly took our breath away was the view from our room. Waking up to those stunning mountains felt like waking up in heaven—an experience that fills you with gratitude. We will always remember our stay here and cannot wait to return. "This has to be one of the cleanest hotels i have stayed at. The staff is beyond helpful.. from great places to visit, and great restaurants other then the one on site. And to have the mountains in the brack drop when you walk out the lobby door."

"Amazing stay! Beautiful mountain views and a few minute walk to bus/train terminal. Could not recommend more. Only downside was reception wasn’t available 24/7 and there was construction going on but other than that it was a great experience."
