If you prefer sandy beach you need to walk towards the city center which is about 15 minutes away. We didn’t mind walking as we love the exercise and helps to walk off the drinks / food ! Lots of restaurants in the area in town. "

You can relax by the pool or head to Tropea beach, which is just a short drive away. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a variety of options, many of them homemade. The family who owns and runs the hotel is incredibly welcoming and their hospitality really stands out. Everything was also very clean and well taken care of. We had such a wonderful stay and would love to return someday."

"Got back from the Bagnara two days ago and had the most wonderful stay at Victoria Grand Hotel. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help and make my stay enjoyable. The hotels restaurant serves one of the best pasta dishes. A big shout out to Mirium and Perier who most helpful. The general manager Frank was amazing. He went out of his way to take us round the island and show us all the lovely spots. Had the most awesome stay and would recommend. Thank you to Frank, Mirium, Perier and all the staff working at the hotel. "

"Great views of Tropea downtown perched on cilff, sea, port, and mountains along the coast line. Serene and large room reminiscing monastery residence. Friendly staff eager to give service. Have to drive to downtown for heartful dinner."

"The front desk people were very helpful and patient. We were very close to downtown and could buy a converter just a few blocks from the hotel. It is a nice property with cute balconies. Breakfast at the terrace was nice and relaxing. "
