"They didn’t know we were coming. Ran in to make beds and leave two bottles of water. No heat, no TV…absolutely not as advertised, but charged beyond full price when we asked to leave. Terrible experience with absolutely no one on site to communicate with."

"We arrived a little later than planned due to a 2 hour flight delay but were greeted enthusiastically by the owner’s mother who spoke no English. We muddled through the walk through of this amazingly beautiful trulli but later the owner and her daughter came and explained a little more in English. The trulli is picture postcard beautiful both inside and out. I like to cook so found the kitchen a little lacking. I did however learn to use a Bialetti caffitiera and cook porridge on the stove...

"The property was beautiful; filled with charm and comfort. The yard was an added plus. It was lovely to sit out in the morning and late afternoon. Very peaceful place. Centrally located, easy to walk everywhere and for all main attractions. Luigi, the host, was a prince… so kind, warm, and helpful. He even contacted me after checkout to make sure everything went ok with the transport he helped me find. I would absolutely stay here again."

"What a beautiful place to stay and explore the area. Just outside the main tourist drag and close to lovely unspoilt bars and restaurants. The trullo itsself is gorgeous. Beautifully decorated... and with the hot tub and private courtyard, it's just perfect. Would have given more than 5 stars if possible."

"Our host Pietro was very welcoming and provided us with lots of information. The accommodation was clean and provided lots of room for 5 ladies (thankful for 2 bathrooms). Location was perfect, within walking distance of the old town of Matera. Lots of privacy and parking available. "We had a great time at Claudia’s studio apartment. Claudia was incredibly helpful communicating with us on how to get to the apartment, parking, suggestions of places to visit and any help we needed. The studio is adorable and has everything you need. The location is enchanting, in the middle of old town Bari right by a small square with amazing food. Wonderful experience!"

"The property was fantastic. Giorgio the host was excellent and was always available for you whether in person or phone. The property is gated so very private and close to all the towns around it and a 20 minute ride to the beach. Would recommend this villa very highly."

"Location was ideal,and was close to all amenities. Marco sorted out the European plug situation. Also when the shower connection broke,sent a plumber within half an hour.Terrace was lovely, but with steep steps maybe difficult for the elderly or very young children.Lovely place to stay, Marco was a brilliant host, and even gave us a lift to the station,on a Thursday late at night to get our train to the airport."

"Was interesting staying in a Trulli for a night. One night is enough as very touristy. The mattresses weren't great. Noisy street which couldn't be helped. Breakfast was fine. Communication was clear and helpful. "
