"Immaculate property, compact and well fitted out. Smooth booking process with good communication and the owner was lovely. We checked in late, 10.30pm and were were really touched to find he had turned lights on and even electric heaters in the main room and bedroom, it was so appreciated. There was also fresh bread, milk, eggs and butter so breakfast was sorted. Beautiful location, very close to park and ride and multiple areas of interest. Highly recommended.....thank you!"

I cant understand some of the reviews that claim some of the furniture is a bit worn.... the house has charm and has the sense of travelling around the world (which Stanley has) without ever leaving and feeling extremely helpful. The annexe was extremely well equipped and comfortable and there was extensive information on local attractions. "We had a short stay at this cottage. It was well appointed, bright and the outside area is fantastic for relaxing. There are doors separating every room which makes it convenient for cutting down noise if you have multiple people staying there. The pub in Steeple Ashton was fantastic (The Longs). The one and only drawback was the strength of the smell of the (I assume) cleaning products. In trying to air out the smell, we discovered that the second room's window was impossible to open and...
