"We were catching up with friends and family in Yeovil. We hadn't been to Yeovil for about 10 years and didn't recognise the town. Lots of renovation going on which will make it more modern. Even the weather was good .We wont leave it that long next time ."

"I was on a Lands End to John O'Groat cycle trip, and this hotel was an excellent stopover point. It was not too far off the National Cycle route. Friendly and helpful staff, a fine breakfast and comfortable bed. Hotel provided safe and secure storage for my bike. "

"What a beautiful property. Its a credit to its owners who have not missed anything that makes an overnight stay comfortable. Super clean, upmarket, comfortable and with all the little things that you expect - tea, coffee, biscuits - just those nice little touches. Then, there is the pub, which is simply superb. A classic English pub. What's not to like? And the breakfast was sensational. Highly reccomended. "

"The bedroom was ok, but bathroom left a lot to be desired, less than a third of a toilet roll no spare, no glasses glass or plastic to clean your teeth, bath panel cracked, toilet needs a lot of bleach in it for it to be clean, soap dispenser in shower not working. Had a shower went from nice warm water to cold. Bed was comfortable and nice white towels. Room 4 right above the bar can be noisy would we stay again? No."

"Unlike any b&b we have stayed at before and the outside staircase to our room was a bit unnerving for us older folks. The rooms were clean and tidy and the shower was simple to operate. We had breakfast in the separate attached Indian restaurant which was beautifully laid out with linen taken clothes. "Warm welcome from Dilip, took me to where the room was early, as I was on business and did not know what time I would be back that night, showed me everything. Very nice guy. Very good ,freshly cooked breakfast. Superb freshly cooked Chicken Korahi curry with home made naan etc. Totally delicious. Room was fresh, hughe king size bed, TV. Shower and bath. "Stanley's house was perfect. I cant understand some of the reviews that claim some of the furniture is a bit worn.... the house has charm and has the sense of travelling around the world (which Stanley has) without ever leaving and feeling extremely helpful. Special thanks for the hat from your collection for the wedding i attended (which i returned). Would definitely recommend"

"We had a short stay at this cottage. It was well appointed, bright and the outside area is fantastic for relaxing. There are doors separating every room which makes it convenient for cutting down noise if you have multiple people staying there. The pub in Steeple Ashton was fantastic (The Longs). The one and only drawback was the strength of the smell of the (I assume) cleaning products. In trying to air out the smell, we discovered that the second room's window was impossible to open and...
