"The location is lovely. The hotel is clean and very quite and next to the ski slopes. However, for a brand new 4-star hotel, we were quite disappointed with the service. The breakfeast is more corresponding to a 2-star hotel. The choice of food is limited when taking into account that they are no way to leave the hotel for a dinner elsewhere especially in the winter time. "Our family of 4 loved our stay in the quaint Les Balcons du Savoy! Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The view of the surrounding Alps is spectacular! The property is an easy walk to the main street of Chamonix (lots of restaurants and shopping) as well as a short bus ride to the gondola for skiing. Thank you for a fabulous stay!"

"A cozy tiny house, on a sunny mountainside with great views. In a calm, authentic little town. A great surprise for us was the path, just at the end of the garden, who takes you on a beautiful trip around the mountain. There is other great trails further up the mountain (starts 10 min. away in car), with spectacular views. We used it for skiing, and tried Cervina, Valtournence, Thorgnon and Chamois. We had our best day at Chamois, even that's the smalles and cheapest ski resort I have ever...
