"We had a wonderful stay in Gianluca’s house. The place is an oasis of peace and tranquility amidst nature, with breathtaking views of the Monte Argentario coast. The garden has sun as well as natural shade from the (scented) pine trees throughout the day. There is access (by car) to the private (!) beaches of Scorpaciate and La Canelle (only 5 minutes drive; private parking and beach front dining) and to the Sassi Verde beach right below the house (well accessible by foot via a narrow downhill...

"Beautiful, spacious house with everything you need for a relaxed vacation. Francesco was very helpful and friendly. The house is beautifully located high above the small harbor of Porto Santo Stefano - you shouldn't be afraid of a few stairs when going to the city center."

"The property itself is beautiful and provides expensive views of the sea. However, within five minutes of our arrival, we were asked if we needed towels )um, yes?). We were then charged 10 euro for a few threadbare towels. The screens were taped together and ineffective against mosquitoes. We were told not to drink the tapwater at the cottage and not even one small bottle of water was provided to hold us over until we could get back to town. Cottage needs maintenance and minimal stocking."
