Juhachiro exceeds the expectations of a stay at a ryokan. Both the common areas and rooms were the perfect stylish intersection of modern and traditional. Staff were very friendly and it was like going back in time and experiencing Japan with old skool charm (in a good way). Nothing fancy just plain, simple and very nostalgic. Love it, would definitely return if we’re in the area again.

The staff was very attentive and helpful. The larger onsen was clearly designed by someone who enjoys baths, as the sides were designed to be very comfortable for the neck to relax.

Awesome! The place to come back:).

I booked a plan with breakfast. The hotel staffs were very friendly and above average. The atmosphere of Inn was very classy traditional Spa(onsen) so I was able to relax. The Spa was wonderful. I love to come back and hope to rent a bike next time.

Right out of the Taxi we were greeted by the staff. They took our luggage and checked us in pretty quickly. It was a nice relaxing stay with a river view. I highly recommend.

Location is good. Clean and spacious room. The onsen is very nice. Food quality has deteriorated from last time we were there. The Hida beef Kaiseki dinner was disappointing.

Amazing!

AMAZING! Such great service and hospitality. Front desk workers are so helpful and kind, considering we don't speak the language. The room was extremely clean and the view was beautiful. They have yukata to wear and tea provided. It is also right next the comerant fishing, so that's why we chose this place. Overall worth it in every way. Thanks for an unforgettable stay!

スタッフの皆さんがとても丁寧で、それが行き渡っている。施設等も落ち着きがありとても良かったです。機会があればまた利用したい気持ちになれる。 鵜飼い観光の舟の乗り場がすぐ前というのもとても良かった。
