"Location was great! The buffet was one of the best in the area. Rooms are small and can be very small, even if you pay for the same price as a regular room, just depending on location in hotel. There is some construction going on so the views outside many rooms are just garbage and construction and very noisy. The hair dryer was horrible. Couldn't use it for my hair so had to air dry. The shower was nice though. The bed was ok, but the pillows were horrible. The fridge did not keep things cold. I dont mind noise while I sleep, but I would imagine most people would complain about the rooms on that side of the hotel because they store garbage bins and roll them in and out all night under the bedroom window and it is very loud. It goes on all night. The TV was nice and the air conditioning was great but takes a long time to cool down. Most of the staff was friendly. It was quite expensive, but most hotels in good locations are in Edinburgh."
