Dirty room, broken toilet, disgusting shower, no air conditioning, extremely noisy location made it impossible to sleep. Ruined the first day of our Italy vacation. "An absolutely beautiful place to stay. Completely modern rooms with great ambiance. Pool area is great. The only downside is no staff on site. Need to arrange for staff to be there when you arrive to let you in and explain how it all works. This is problematic, otherwise a wonderful spot."

"We really enjoyed our stay here - it's a beautiful setting high up in the hills. I would recommend having a car, however, as we had to walk a fair bit to get to any shops or restaurants (besides the lovely pizzeria by the apartments, which wasn't always open). Lovely pool! Spacious apartment, but it wasn't cleaned once during our 5 days there. Kitchenette but limited utensils (e.g. no bowls, no cups). Besides this it was a lovely place which we enjoyed staying in at the start of our holiday"

"Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einer tollen Parkanlage zwischen Weinreben, Zitronen/Olivenplantagen. Der Pool war sauber und sehr stylish. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich wie in einem alten Herrenhaus, sehr authentisch. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war ein Highlight mit Blick auf‘s Meer auf der einen Seite. Die andere Seite mit Blick auf den Ätna. Sehr gute Lage zu Ausflügen nach Taormina, Ätna und Syrakus."

The hotel is lovely - clean and modern with everything you need including a pool. It is a family run business, and they could not have been more lovely - nothing was too much trouble. Our flight was delayed and we had problems picking up the hire car, but they waited up to check us in at 1am! The breakfast buffet was ample with lots of fresh fruit and freshly baked...
