"A lovely location and great golf course but I didn't think the price charged per night was warranted given some of the facilities beginning to show wear and tear (eg pool tiles coming away, unable to open my balcony door), standard of breakfast etc. Staff all very helpful and professional."

"Staff at front desk were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, all very nice. Wifi connection in room was very limited. Staying near the front desk unfortunately was very noisy. It was perfect for a short stay."

"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Sole. The staff was welcoming and kind. The coffee delicious. Our room was clean and made up each day. The property is centrally located and easy to access. The owner spent time to help us book a vineyard tour and tasting. The tour and the wine did not disappoint. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Orbetello. We will be back!!"

"Great location if wanting to explore the many beaches, we did many seaside drives, staff very friendly, absolutely love that I was able to text back-and-forth with the front desk with any questions or concerns on the WhatsApp. They helped us get contact information for the nearby horse stables and also offer a shuttle service for us to take the shuttle to the train to go to Rome.We traveled with a two year-old and a four-year-old -property was safe and well maintained for them. they could essentially run freely. Would love if they could improve the breakfast, personally I would like more fresh fruit, bean and veggie dishes. They do have a washer available however it is a long cycle and only one washer available so if another guest has the key checked out, you have to wait. Again, staff was very friendly and attentive. Location worked very well for our needs cost was very affordable other guest staying at the hotel seemed like locals and that this is where they go for vacation, all being very friendly. Our apartment was very comfortable."

"We just left this past Tuesday. The staff was wonderful! They truly made our stay great and helped with an e-bike tour and a ride to the airport. This resort is wonderful! Such great views from the pool of the sea! Would highly recommend! Also the breakfast buffet is hands down a great experience and value!"

"Would 100% recommend this hotel. Convenient location only a couple of mins walk from the ferry port but also far enough that it feels calm and secluded. Views from the rooms and restaurant/breakfast area are amazing, overlooking the sea. The whole place is very clean and well maintained. Staff are universally lovely and helpful! They also gave us a couple of really excellent dinner recommendations (very helpful as there are many options to weigh up in Giglio Porto) plus at check-out they kindly helped us organise a taxi from Porto S. Stefano."

"I stayed there for only one day on my way from Rome to Cinque Terre. The place is magical, the service outstanding and the food divine. If you are looking for 5 star accommodations, this is not the place. This place is about rustic charm in a family run business that makes you feel at home. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend it."

"Such a wonderful property in every way - this restored Tuscan farmhouse has been updated with all the modern comforts while preserving its Italian past. We stayed for three nights over a weekend and loved it so much we booked the same place for the next weekend! The rooms are great, bedding delicious, and breakfast a treat… The grounds are exquisitely landscaped and maintained, with amazing views stretching from mountains to sea… The staff was amazing from check in to check out; always friendly and super response to any queries. You will feel welcomed and at home immediately upon arrival and will long to return when you leave!"
