"Great hotel with genuinely friendly staff. Everything spotlessly clean. Great quality breakfast with many options. Lovely pool area. The only slight drawback is that the car park is a 6 or 8 minute walk away; a multi-storey above a supermarket in High Street. Always seemed to be plenty of spaces there. "

"Whilst a large property it never felt crowded or overrun with people. With 4 pools catering for a variety of holiday makers, we were spoilt for choice but the adult only pool was a great bonus."

"The view and location were what sold me on Barcelo. Cant beat a view across the water to fabulous viiew of Valletta. Location to restaurants and the ferry or other rental boats was great Our room was really huge and very modern. Our balcony was also a plus. Worth the extra money to get a room with a view. "

"I loved everything about the hotel. The only cons was that my room had no view, the glass window was covered with wallpaper. So it was very claustrophobic. "

"I've stayed in a few hotels around St Julian's but this is the first time I've gone as a family with small kids. The staff were excellent, and the breakfast selection in our section was great. Gym facilties are very good, there is a games area for kids with PlayStation, TV and some other games though the arcade machine needs a bit of attention. Room service was really fast, good value for money and surprisingly tasty. The area is very busy and is mainly full of tourists. The is no hotel parking but I was able to find a parking spot everyday within 5 minutes walk which was free. There is a car park next door but I think it is €15 a day. I would definitely recommend it. If you're young the clubs and bars outside are everywhere plus the is the usual western fast food places. 5 stars from me as the kids were happy. "
