Day 4
As per the plan, we had to go to Hemkunth Sahib, but half of the group decided to stay back. Everyone had their own reasons - mine included fatigue, unwillingness to climb straight for 3 kilometers, and even more reluctance to cover the distance on a horse.
Strangely, the tour operators were as disinterested as they could be. They didn't bother about why or when people are going or staying back.
Feeling a bit disappointed with myself, even though I knew I made the right decision, I went for a small walk in search of solitude.

I was at Valley of flowers, Uttarakhand in the last week of July, a 6 day trip - my first after leaving the cubicle, also my first without anyone I knew.

"visiting from California and loved our stay at MT Rover! A quick 5 minute walk to the ski resort - don't let the hotels.com drive confuse you, it's incorrect and you don't need to drive. Great food at the restaurant and large selection. Amazing service as they brought breakfast up to our room every morning so we can enjoy the privacy and spectacular view. We also had car troubles with the slow and the staff was so accommodating when we needed help getting up and down the mountain. The manager...

"Overall, my experience was wonderful. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and polite, and the room was comfortable, conveniently located near the temple. "It’s an average bed and breakfast place. Sheets were dirty when I entered first. Had to make them replace it. Limited food choice and food was too spicy. View is good. "
