"We had a lovely stay at C4 Retreat! The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was great. The hotel felt fresh and clean with all the necessary amenities. It was super easy to check in despite there not being a 24/7 reception and there were nice little details like getting a decanter of fresh water in your room every day (even though the tap water is safe to drink). There's not a lot going on in Xagħra where the hotel is located so we ended up renting a car for the 4 days we were in Gozo, simply because it felt neccessary in order to see the island properly. There are plenty of beaches/bays worth visiting and everything is within 10-30 minutes away so I would recommend you to do the same if you're here for a few days. Victoria is a beautiful little city with lovely restaurants and it seemed fairly easy to get the bus there if you don't drive. I would maybe recommend the hotel to change the name of the TVs in every room, just so people know which one to connect to in case you want to cast something from your phone. That was my only feedback so apart from that it was a 5/5 for us! ☀︎"

"The interior is well kept. The staff treated us with kindness. Friendly, polite, helpful and accommodating. We chose the room with a full balcony and loved having two types of chairs- 2 uprights with a table and 2 loungers. It was lovely to have a private outside place to lounge, especially since we stayed a week. Breakfast was included, filling, tasty, and we custom ordered every evening from a menu for the next morning. They do have a restaurant on-site which serves delicious food. As is common with most eateries in town, they are not open every night. However there are other options up in the town square. The location is 1/4 mile walk from the town center square where there about 7 restaurants. It's a mile walk to Victoria if you go the back way, although it's a pretty steep incline. One must play "frogger" when walking, carefully watching for cars. We enjoyed the relaxing, laid back atmosphere of Xaghra. We used a combination of ride share, public buses and walking to get around. We enjoyed the Hop Off and Hop on bus to allow us to get an overview of the Island of Gozo. We recommend II-Boutique Hotel and would stay here again."

"Amazing property, the pictures do not do it justice, this is more like a small stone castle than a farmhouse.We had everything we needed, and had a very comfortable stay, the property has some lovely new sofas and a very modern huge fridge freezer, lots of sun loungers in the secluded patio area with a great pool, a bit cold at the beginning of April but we still used it as it was really hot basking in the sun, we had a very relaxed stay and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.We used some of the local restaurants in the town square which were both good value and good food.We stayed for eight nights but could have easily stayed another week.the owner has great communication and there is a local agent who can help if you have any local issues.We would highly recommend this rental, although we went as a couple it would be great for a family or even two small families. if you book it you will enjoy it. "The air conditioning was complex to use. There is no hotel parking but there was always space ouside the hotel The reception staff, expecially Peter, were outstanding with their help"

"Excellent Hosts! Great Hospitality! Room was perfect! Breakfast is awesome! We did not use the pool due to the temperatures, but we were really tempted to. Close to several bus stops and has good local restaurants within a mile. Would recommend! Would come again!"

"Such a beautiful room with a view of the sea. Our host was so kind to make us coffee upon arrival and reference the area restaurants. After a long day of walking and sightseeing in nearby Victoria, this was a welcome respite. The bed was incredibly comfortable! Parking was easy. We were just a short walk/drive to the center of town and some great dining choices! Breakfast was lovely as well- the orange cake was next level. Thank you for a lovely stay! "

"Communication and check in were on point. Gozo is such a beautiful island and the people were so friendly. Ta Leli is conveniently located next to a quaint grocery store. We enjoyed shopping there, preparing our meals in the equipped kitchen, and trying pastizzi for the first time. Ramla Beach is walking distance with unforgettable views. Loved being in the community of Xagħra! The home was comfortably appointed, clean,and absolutely lovely. Our experience will forever be imprinted in our minds. Thank you for unforgettable memories and such a charming accommodation!"

"What a fabulous apartment. Clean, well equipped and a lovely quiet location but not too far from shops bars and restaurants. The apartment was so comfortable, in particular the beds. The pool area is spotless and a lovely area to spend time in. Anita and Mark are very communicative and Nick who met us at the apartment is lovely and so helpful. Do not hesitate to book this apartment. You won’t regret it! "
