Getxo is a residential town close to Bilbao. Hardly anyone speaks English, but they are all very nice and there’s tons a small places serving pintxos and drinks. This ‘hanging bridge’ is the Bizkaia Bridge, a transportation device that bring cars and people across the river between Getxo and Portugalete.

"I’m could not fault the hotel. Beautiful rooms, friendly and very helpful staff, perfect location for exploring Bilbao. Old Town just across the bridge and then only a 5-10 minute walk to the main shopping area. Couldn’t be more perfect. Will definitely stay again. "
