"We stayed for two nights to visit WWII sites. House is large, and was clean and accommodating. We were greeted and very welcomed by the host. There is no air conditioning so the up stairs can be a little stuffy on hot days though the bathrooms have skylight windows you can open in the evenings to cool off. Overall a nice quiet stay. "The reception area was convenient and the check in process was easy. The gentleman escorted me to the room and explained which doors would be available during evening hours. He also gave a brief explanation of how everything in the room worked (lights, air conditioning) and pointed out the refrigerator as well as the coffee maker and condiments. The touch of leaving a couple of water bottles in the refrigerator for us was very much appreciated. "

First this cute old house is adorable and we found the location convenient for our stay. Private parking space off the road was nice. Bathroom is on the ground floor so if you are older and can’t do stairs in the middle of the night you should know this.
The host is friendly and you can tell cares about the environment.
As an American we were surprised by no soap in the bathrooms and one roll of toilet paper.
