This loft should be considered a Penthouse from its fine appointments and decor, comfortable and quality furniture and bedding to it's well supplied kitchen and butlers pantry...we were lacking for nothing! Totsie our host was there to assist with kindness and a quick response time. Lastly, only 1/2 block to Front Street, the down town, waterfront and historic district is truly an American experience not to be missed. This gem is on our to return to list.

Tottsie was the most gracious host. Helped us to find a great shelling tour, greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the Lawft! Very eclectic space with a combination of charm and functionality. So close to the restaurants/shops/bars. We parked the truck and didn't drive until we left. Would defiantly stay again.

We booked this property fairly last minute and Totsie was the most accommodating property owner I have ever rented through! She immediately reached out to me and we stayed in contact throughout my stay. She was quick to respond and so sweet! The house was perfect for 4 adults, had everything we needed, and was in walking distance of all Front Street restaurants. We will absolutely stay here again!

Our stay at the Lawft was perfect. The location is downtown and a very short walk to the waterfront shops and restaurants. The apartment was very nice, private and we always felt very safe. We loved walking around and seeing the beautiful homes and churches in the area. Totsie was so easy to work with and she was very quick responding to any questions we had. We would definitely choose “The Lawft” again for a Georgetown weekend. It would also be a great choice if someone was in town for business because of the location and privacy.

My husband and I were in town for a long weekend to explore Georgetown and Pawleys Island. The Lawft was a perfect “home base” to explore the area. It’s located within a block of the historic Georgetown district with easy access to a variety of restaurants, stores, and the boardwalk and easy access to Hwy 17 (which follows the coastline). We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived, where Totsie met and greeted us with a box of cookies and a tour around the apartment. It is beautifully decorated with obvious personal touches, is well stocked with all the essentials, and was immaculate. We enjoyed our visit, the apartment, and Totsie’s hospitality.

My wife and I came into town for our wedding reception and booked this home. We are very familiar with downtown Georgetown and we love spending time there. Miss Totsie was so accommodating and understanding of the craziness surrounding our event. This home is nothing less than emaculate and awesome. We only live an hour away but we will definitely be back for a weekend getaway very soon! The Stones

The apartment was very large and decorated beautifully. Totsie could not have been more accommodating. The location is in the historic district and is perfect. There are stairs to climb (it is on the 2d floor) and there are several stairs inside the apartment. Since the apartment was formerly a law office, the bathrooms are across another room from the bedrooms. The only suggestion we would have is to put a small railing on the wall next to each set of steps going from the dining area into the bedroom areas. This is a safety issue since people must go down the 2 or 3 steps to cross the dining area to the bathrooms at night. I would also suggest putting an armoir to hang clothes in the master bedroom (in place of the bookcase) as the hanger on the door is not sufficient. All in all, it is a beautiful unit and we recommend staying in it.

My husband and I stayed here with another couple while attending a wedding at Debordieu Resort just outside of Georgetown, SC. "The Lawft" was all that we had hoped for: beautifully appointed, very-well stocked, and literally steps from great restaurants, museums and interesting shops. Before we went, I was a little apprehensive about the reviews that mentioned the small shower. It is small, but my husband is 6'4" and had no problem using it. I would note that a very heavy, large person may have difficulty. Though separate bathrooms for each bedroom would be ideal, the trade-off for all the other amenities was well worth it! The owner, Totsie, could not have been more responsive---when I needed a step-stool to get up on our gorgeous, very comfortable, but high bed, she got one to us almost immediately! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone we know! One note: hang-up space is limited to a small rack on the back of your bedroom door and a freestanding "coat rack" in each bedroom.
