Guests have access to the entire unit, designated fire pit and picnic table!

Sunset Vacation Rentals is fully staffed with a property manager, housekeeping staff and maintenance crew.

All guest receive 10% off Sunset Taxi services when picked up from a Sunset Vacation Rental property. Private tours are also available to visit local attractions and wineries.

Specifically for all Sunset Vacation Rentals guest street legal 6 seater golf carts are available for our guest to reserve and rent during their stay.

During your stay, we ask that you please:
• Do not remove heavy makeup with our bath linens.
• Do not use hair dye of any kind.
• Do not use bath linens to clean up any messes or spills.
• Pet owners – please refrain from allowing pets on furniture or bedding.
• Please clean up after your pet(s), both indoors and in the yard.
• Put any and all trash bags in the can outside.
• Pets are allowed in our units marked pet friendly only. A pet, or any evidence of a pet found on the property, that was not previously disclosed by charging you the pet fee and can result in immediate eviction. DOGS ONLY- maximum 2 dogs, unless previously authorized.
• Please note, this home is near Lake Erie, so you may encounter outdoor insects like spiders or mosquitoes. Refunds will not be issued due to area insects.

Very clean and updated, close enough to the main strip, just a short walk. All amenities listed were available. Pet friendly. Will stay at this location and use Sunset Vacation Rentals again!

We stayed for 3 nights with friends. The property was perfect for what we needed. Everything was very tidy and clean and looked like it had been recently updated. The beds were comfortable and very convenient having the washer and dryer available. We also are older but the property was close enough to the strip that we were still able to make the walk. The only negative thing I can say is that for window coverings, there are onlyWhite mini blinds, which looked great, but dont block the light early in the mornings. We were on a 10 day road trip vacation and were looking forward to sleeping in a little but the room was very bright as soon as the sun came up. Maybe just adding some curtains would help. The check in amd out processes were very easyOverall, we really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely stay again

Outstanding in every way. Exceptionally clean and has so many amenities-including a washer and dryer. There are also TVs in both bedrooms, huge walk-in shower and new fixtures; Beds are comfortable. It even has a hair dryer. Plenty of towels. Close walk to the Strip. Ample parking. We will be back!

Convenient to beach and strip

This is a very cute place, close to the strip and the beach is within minutes. Convenient checkin. The only thing that irritated me is the 80 cleaning fee (I get someone needs to clean it) but your asked to strip your beds, throw towels in washer and run dishwasher if you have time. I understand it cuts down on the time for a cleaner to come in but the bulk is done. I felt it added a stress to make sure these things were completed

There were a lot of nice things about this apartment, which are shown well on the advertisement. Perhaps too well. It is for that reason that I may not rent from sunset again.The apartment was very clean, the fixtures were nice, but it was more of the things that weren’t there that caused my discomfort.For example, there were no closets in the bedrooms or hook in the bathroom. There was no way to arrange the furniture to watch any of the TVs from a comfortable position or to gather as friends.The unit seem to be converted from a 1950s style motel and probably changed a single room into what they call a two bedroom apartment.We did well and enjoyed our stay otherwise, but only because we are all very close friends, and that helped us to overcome the inadequacies of a unit.Frankly, I think some bad decisions were made to make the unit appeared to be more deluxe than was possible. Personally, I think this would be suitable maybe for just one couple or a family with small children that we’re gonna spend all day at the beach in LA. Otherwise, I would counsel against it.

Great cottage on the strip

The newly renovated cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. We have been coming to GOTL for decades and this is by far the nicest location we’ve ever stayed in. Very clean, amenities included for shower and laundry. Would recommend and definitely will book again.

Nice Place

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very nice, small but perfect for the 2 of us on our girls get away. Everything was new, clean, and the beds were comfy! We’ll be back next year for sure!

Our second visit to this Sunset property

We reserved all 3 units for the 4-8-2024 Eclipse. We Were allowed access on time. In fact, Sunset allowed us to park EARLY at our units for a pick-up for a wine country tour, through their Sunset touring service. The units were clean and comfortable for all 15 of us. Gary grilled steaks on the provided charcoal grill, 3 grills in total. There was plenty of room for us all on the picnic tables. The fire rings were well used both nights. We like the location on the edge of town but convenient walking distance to what Geneva On The Lake has to offer. Thanks to Sarah, tour guide Rick and Adam for making our trip more enjoyable.

2024 St Patrick's day pub crawl

Had a great time! Location of property was perfect. Easy walk to everything. Property was updated and probably the cleanest and most well maintained that we've stayed at in the area. I would definitely recommend this property or any of the Sunset properties in Geneva on the lake.

Clean little unit

Nice little unit... just off the strip but everying within walking distance... if you want beach access you would need to take a short drive. The unit was clean and all amenities working well. Great place if you're looking for a pet friendly place to stay thats close to the strip.

Beautiful updated rental. Easy communication with owners. Only a few issues. 1. Being an older adult once soap was used in the shower there was nothing to gripp onto almost falling in the shower. 2. My last day there, someone moved in next to me that had a dog that barked the entire time when they went out. Thin walls...Other then these issues I still highly recommend this unit. You mostly only sleep there anyway...enjoy Geneva on the Lake ...Rent a Golf Cart too ...makes things easier. You able to ride on streets.
