This male scorpionfly was found at a place called Ike's Fenn. This land borders the Hennepin Canal and is a part of the local Izzak Walton League. This fenn is one of two or three natural fenns in the state. It also is inhabited by skunk cabbage which is found in glacial areas. It is a unique habitat that resembles prehistoric times when the skunk cabbage are at their fullest. There are many interesting insects for the macro photography enthusiast as well.
