"We have just returned from our wonderful holiday at this beautiful Gite in a lovely rural area of France. Amanda & Graham were the perfect hosts and went above and beyond to ensure we had the most relaxing stay with the use of their pool and sunbeds. The welcome gift of wine and treats was very much appreciated after our long drive from England. Easy access to the motorway is close by for day trips out. We particularly enjoyed visiting La Rochelle and Poitiers and doing everything French...

"We are in our 60’s so was looking for a relaxing and quiet holiday, which we got especially with the swimming pool but unfortunately the weather was not great, which no one can control. It is comfortable but it was only the 2 of us. Chantal is very helpful and friendly and everything you need for your stay. Although her house is opposite the cottage she gives you your privacy. "

"Voici un résumé de nos 3 semaines de location dans ce gîte : - Extérieur dangereux - Jardin partagé avec 2 autres locations, des tentes dans le jardin et des chiens de garde - Omniprésence de la propriétaire - Saleté - Équipement vétuste - Contrairement à ce que nous a affirmé la propriétaire, le jardin n'est pas du tout privatif, il est commun à 3 locations ! Avec les locataires à l'année de la maison attenante, par chance très gentils,et les locataires du gîte mitoyen, dans notre cas 6...

"Beautifully renovated, typical Fresh farmhouse property with a large flowery garden and huge pool. Two completely separate, tastefully decorated cottages with lots of privacy, bbq space and outside seating. The owners were lovely, very kind and helpful with tips of activities in the surrounding towns. Watersports, fishing, naturewalks, markets, restaurants and sunflowers. We had a very nice relaxing holiday. Thank you!"

Great three star, well located

"It's important to understand that the star system tells you important things about the amenities, as well as the price. A/C is extra here, and the rooms are small but clean. The location is top-notch for dining and sight-seeing. The breakfast (extra charge, as is universal in France, but in this case a very small one) is wonderful, with many local products. Above all, the staff are lovely and extremely accommodating, including for example fixing an air conditioner and supplying a power adapter. Highly recommended."
