Beautiful property, the restaurant is excellent as is the complimentary breakfast. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, particularly Lars and Lou.

I stumbled upon Sombea during a trip through Southern Germany, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. The staff is helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the restaurant is delicious. If I find that my travels take be back to the Schwarzwald, I will be staying at Sombea again.

Probably one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. The building is only a few years old. The suite was clean, quiet, comfortable, and huge. Ample room for a family of 4 with luggage. The bathroom was large and beautiful. The staff was very polite, professiinal, and helpful. We did not eat at the restaurant but it looked nice. Very pleasant, new hotel. Clean and good service.

The apartment was incredibly spacious and well outfitted for a family of 4 to enjoy. The washing facilities were also very affordable. These apartments were in the middle of everything and very walkable to them, shops and restaurants but it wasn't too loud.

The location allowed for easy walks to dinner, the rooms were stylishly appointed , and comfortable, The self check in went well and the staff was very helpful with the pi cycle parking.

Everything was absolutely perfect, and believe me, I’m not easy to please. All rooms have been renovated and are super nice, the TV was working perfectly and is brand new, the breakfast buffet was excellent and very economically priced. The hotel is also right in downtown, so you can walk through this wonderful old German town and also visit some of the local restaurants and supermarkets and of course, the spring of the Danube, which is right in this little town. Great personal nice rooms

If you plan to stay, especially a non-German speakers, check-in early before staff get off work. It will be somewhat difficult to find your room and keys. We are lucky that there are ground staff still working and called the manager to come for check-in. Otherwise, it is a fantastic place to stay.
