"We were looking forward to our stay at the Hyatt Place in the Room that we reserved. We arrived about 1:00 pm and "of course" the room we reserved was not available/cleaned. We were told we could wait till 3 to see if one is available (HP Room) or change room type and check in now. We had just traveled for 26 hours, so being so tired we did not want to wait. The room we got was a king bed with what was suppose to be a sofa bed....it was not. The room was small. There was 3 people and our luggage took up a lot of space in the room. The king bed was not comfortable. Mattress too hard. The third person (17 yr old) slept on the top of sofa...it would not open out. Extremely hard. The shuttle was good to have except the van was extremely hot. When we got picked up, the driver did not help with luggage...he instructed our grandson where to put his luggage. When we first got started the air was nice and then he turned the air basically off. Both times we rode the shuttle van, it was very hot inside. The breakfast was good. There was a lot of variety. I believe they should offer special requests but I was told no. You only have what's being offered. Overall, not sure if back in the area, I would choose Hyatt Place again. There are other hotels in the area that also has shuttle services."

"An upgrade was requested for a better room. I was moved 1 floor down to a premium room as I didn't like the look of the ceiling. The view was not much different as it was only 2 doors down on the lower floor. The new room hand towels in the bathroom had dirty brown stains. When I wiped my face the towels had an awful smell. On entering the bathroom the toilet seat was up as though someone had used the bathroom. The pillow cases on the bed were not clean. They were just turned over to the other side. The housekeeper at the previous room before moving prior did a far better job with the cleaning. Staff were friendly. Lounge was great. Beautifully decorated hotel"

"The contemporay design did not lend itself to convenience. There wasnt a place for shampoos, conditioners or razors etc. in the shower. The bathroom door was glass so there is no privacy. Because of the door the option of a relaxing bath is out because the light disturbs anyone in bed trying to sleep or rest. Location is close to the airport. It's a pretty good walk to the city trolley. The staff is very helpful and friendly."
