"Used this hotel a few years ago and standard is still kept high. Spacious room, excellent breakfast and dinner and friendly staff. Cafe/tea kettle in the room. Parking is paid inside or free outside of the hotel with plenty of spaces. Hotel is located in industrial area which mean quiet but out of the town so best is to have a car. Perhaps most suitable for business travel or overnight stay. Would appreciate car chargers located on site. (Have hired electric car on this trip)"

"the stay was excellent. The service from Hotels.com was popor and gave rise to problems checking in. Great location in Piacenza. Key locations, venues all a shoirt walk away. Parking in the area is problematic."

"Beautiful setting with lemon and olive trees and the marina. The jasmine scent was everywhere. Room was clean and comfortable but the shower was incredibly small. That was our only disappointment."

"Absolutely stunning location. Be sure to book the castle tour, it was fascinating. Also, good idea to book dining in advance-- there are three restaurants in the little square the hotel occupies, but the first I stopped in was fully booked for the evening. "

"Decent budget hotel very close to train station and only a short walking distance from the city centre. The room was spacious and I slept well thanks to it being quiet. The hotel needs refurbishing and the bed made creaking noises whenever I moved and wasn't particularly comfortable. The receptionist Angelique was friendly and helpful, and I was able to store my luggage the following day."

"My 2nd visit here. Love the area. So peaceful despite being not far from the motorway. A great stopping off point on the long route from the very south of Italy. Lovely food for dinner. Huge breakfast. Very friendly helpful staff My only negative comment, no more paper cups. A proper cup in the room for a hot drink and a glass for water in the bathroom. I highly recommend a stay here to explore the area."
