The manager stays in his office, and seems to know at once when we arrive at the main door, and will open it before we knock! We were allowed to check in a few hours early since room was available, and we were given a choice of rooms. He was most accomodating, and helped us call a taxi to the station later. The room was a little small and dark, but the beds were big and sufficiently comfy. The location was just right below the castle, and a short walk to all the Hans and Bazaars. Best of all, it was reasonably priced, and good value for money.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and quite clean as well as nicely decorated. We were on the top floor so unfortunately there were slats on the windows that blocked a lot of the natural light during the evening but mid day it was still plentiful. Very close to the castle (quite literally across the street) and a 10 or so minute walk to the Bakırcılar çarşısı. Which was great. It’s also very close to the hamam museum and the culinary museum which made placement ideal. Tons of restaurants in the area and a few tea houses. Mehmet Ali was a phenomenal host and even helped us get dinner the last night as we were too tired to walk anywhere else! He had tons of knowledge of the area and recommendations. I would definitely stay here again.

Konum olarak tarihi turistik yerlere yürüme mesafesinde 10/10 diyebilirim. Oda daraltmayacak kadar küçük sıcak su her zaman var. Görevli arkadaşlar çok yardımcı oluyor her konuda. Gents who manage the site are extremely hospitable, kind and helpful professionals. in case I need anything, they assisted me right away! since i was a bit sick, i asked for hot water and so on multiple times and they helped me out with pleasure. room was ideal. general ambiance was quite historic and authentic. neighborhood is fantastic in terms of food choices which is the remark of the city! great cast view is a big plus!
