The hotel is a classic, old style palace, beautifully decorated and ornate without being gaudy. Our room was very nice with a balcony, comfortable bed and great bathroom products. The staff is fantastic!!!! All very friendly, with excellent recommendations and 1st class hotel concierge service. Highly recommended ! "Divan Istanbul is the perfect hotel experience. It's location, luxury, comfort, service and staff are all excellent. Effe at the front desk was especially helpful in our early check in and extended check out due to flight schedules. Shafa at the concierge desk went above and beyond to help arrange last minute Turkish sweets as souvenirs when we checked out. The breakfast buffet is the highlight of this hotel, and features classical Turkish cheeses, olives and honey. "
