"Excellent communication! Really nice place. The screened in porch was our favorite! Saw all sorts of ducks and geese. Saw a woodpecker. Even got to watch a couple of beavers hard at work! Would definitely stay again. It was close to our hunting spots for mushrooms. Had a little bit of a problem with the tv! Sent him a message and had it taken care of very quickly! I am a clean freak and it was clean enough - not perfect, but clean enough that I was very comfortable. 😊 The decor and design of the place was great - cozy, restful, quiet. "I stayed 3 nights at the Northern Nest, and it was stellarly clean, comfy and peaceful.. even with a couple of comic relief supplied by a couple of dogs who stopped by to visit every day. :) All the comforts of home, just in a smaller package! I'll stay again."

"Took my son, his friends, and their dads up for a four wheeler trip. The house was great and had plenty of room for all of us. The hot tub was nice too after a long day of riding. I highly recommend this place for anyone just looking to get away or if you like to ride ATVs/ORVs and/or snowmobiles. Trail access is just a couple of minutes from the property and they lead to pretty much anywhere you want to go in Northern Michigan."

"We needed a place to relax after a day of snowmobiling in Gaylord and this home fit the bill perfectly. Spacious and charming it was like we were time-warped back to the 50's/60's. The original cabin, along with the addition, allowed the four of us plenty of room for sleeping and lounging. It was a pleasure to meet the owner and get the history of the property.
