"Exceptional at the price. The staff were helpful and kind. The restaurant is very good - don't be put off by the burger-bar style menu cards, the food that comes out of the kitchen is excellent. I went for the Pave au Saumon with a delicious Chablis that tasted of raspberries(!) as opposed to the burnt firework flavour I've had from other Chablis in my time. Oh, yes, and a very decent breakfast as well."

"All good managed a late check in really well very helpful and quick so we xould get to bed quickly. Very helpful staff especially night person. Good breakfast flying visit for us but i woudl definitely go back."

"I use this regularly in passing through. You can sometimes get a room in the Chateau for the price of the BW venue. The restaurants are very good. So is the bar."

"Wow what a rare find. Firstly it’s magnificent and then we booked last minute and the hotel called us to find out what time we’d arrive (it was 10pm) and to ask if we’d like some food on arrival how about that. They were amazing. Got us a great meal to take to our room 10.30pm and arranged a dog bed and it was just totally first class. Advertised as 5 star and made it in every way. From the team on the front desk, to the chef and the overnight team as we had to leave at 6am to continue our journey to Italy. I will 10000 percent stay there on my return but get there early enough to enjoy the restaurant and atmosphere. Not sure who owns this place but I’d reckon privately owned. If employee all the people there in a heartbeat. When we got up at 5.30 they were already in the kitchen making breakfast. "

"Fantastic place! Big, comfortable room and large shower room with separate toilet. Very clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast was set out for me, nice fresh bread and croissants, jam, yoghurt, strawberries and more. Exceptionally good value, less than an hour from the Eurotunnel."

"We arrived extremely late (1am) so used the after hours check in however it struggled to recognise our booking until we tried my first name for the surname entry! After that it was plain sailing. For €40, it was comfortable, convenient and somewhere to lay our heads before a long onward journey "
