Our family of 5 stayed enjoyed our stay in this cabin. We really enjoyed the location, the stream outside and the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Great communication with the owner.
The location was great, and the creek/water sound scape was top notch. We had a mama bear and cubs visit. It was a great stay. The only thing I would advise is to bring your own pillows. Overall, it was awesome, thank you so much!
The cabin was very comfortable, nicely decorated and convenient to the Smoky Mountain National Park. My husband, his father and myself stayed for 2 days. We visited Gatlinburg & did a little shopping. We hiked in the park and especially enjoyed the natural beauty of the area.
We loved our stay! The place was great and convenient. Enough of a distance from the bustle, but close enough to get where you want to go. Loved the sounds of the roaring river! ♥️
Well kept cabin located walking distance to the strip. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very clean. Sleeping with the sound of flowing water of the Roaring Fork is so soothing! The owner responded to inquiries promptly. Definitely will come back.
My family and I stayed at this beautiful cabin right on the creek for 4 nights in February 2024. The cabin itself was clean, well-maintained and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, about 5 minutes outside of Gatlinburg. My kids loved being right on the creek. Communication from the owner was top-notch. I even received an email during our stay, just checking in to see how everything was going. Highly recommended. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay!
Needed a sister trip and booked this cabin. Was exactly as described and pictured. Was very clean and well stocked even though we didn’t cook much. Would definitely stay at this cabin again. Didn’t have any problems to report but the management company was prompt with information. The only discrepancy in the description is I feel like it’s a long walk to downtown Gatlinburg.
All of us loved this cabin. We saw the famous bear coming down the hill behind the hot tub. Everything was perfect with the exception of the two days the hot tub was out of order and that was no one's fault and was taken care of as soon as possible. Perfect communication with Kirkland Cabins. They made everything simple. I would rent from them again without hesitation.
We absolutely loved our stay here. This home is off the main strip (Parkway) but close enough if you wanted to walk. The sound of the Roaring Forks is calming. One night we slept with our window open. It was nice to fall asleep to the sound of water rushing through rocks. My husband and boys had fun walking on some of the rocks in playing in the stream. We also loved that the Roaring Forks Motor Nature Trail is so close by and actually exits very close to this property. It’s great to watch the sunset and see some bears from this motor trail. This home is truly ideally located. Kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment and seasonings you will need to cook if you choose to with a grocery store minutes away. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer to use after going white water rafting. This is such a lovely cabin filled with all the quaint character you want for a stay near the Smoky Mountains. You can relax by grabbing a book to read from the many books already there or sit in the hot tub before turning in for the night. Make sure to check out the guest book for recommendations on places to eat and attractions to visit. It was fun to read the entries. Don’t forget to make a entry of your own before leaving. Check in and check out were a breeze and management was so kind and welcoming with text messages about any needs we had. 100% would recommend this rental property AND the group that manages this rental.
Cabin is beautiful! Love the creek! Had a couple issues. The parking situation was a bit challenging. We had two vehicles and had to constantly place musical vehicles whenever one needed to get out the other had to move. Could not use spa because the spa cover was broken and hanging into the spa. Not all the pillows had pillow cases. All and all we had a great time!
We had such a wonderful time at the Roaring Forks Cabin. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace and relaxation. We are looking to our next stay!
Clean, cozy and the perfect place for our family of 4!! Chris made check in and out extremely easy. The location was perfect, not right in the center of town dealing with the crazy foot traffic abs car traffic but within walking distance just on the outskirts so all we could hear was the lovely creek!! Such a gem and we all can’t wait to visit again!!
This creek side retreat exceeded our expectations! My husband and I brought our 18 year old daughter and two of her friends! They enjoyed the hot tub and downtown Gatlinburg (conveniently close!), while my husband and I enjoyed antiquing in the area, and the lulling sounds of the running creek literally right outside the door! Plenty of space for everyone, well appointed with so many personal touches, and CLEAN!!! Thanks for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!!!
