Check in was very pleasant. The young lady that checked us in was very helpful. The only real complaint would be the hot water. We let it run a bit because it wasn’t getting warm but sadly, it never got warm and definitely not hot. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.
Loved the fire place, the view and king size bed. Staff and service was friendly and attentive.

When we booked the room there wasn’t an impending snow storm, I was going to spend the weekend with my daughter have fun and experiment a place we’ve never been to. Then we woke up to an impending winter weather warning/advisory. Where the hotel was located, on a side of a mountain, there wasn’t any safe way to stay so we opted to go home after one night. There was no offer to refund or move the date to another time given/offered. This was not a great experience and will not book again.
Also you have to check in at a totally different location to get your key. The room was dated with a few updates but still Very dated.
The views made up for the lacking amenities. I would have definitely booked this location again but just overall a bad taste of not even reaching out to see if we wanted a refund or hold our booking for a later date when we checked out. Total disregard and didn’t care that were checking early didn’t even ask.
Our frig didnt work the staff got it replaced quickly. The rooms are old and very outdated. You do not check in at this hotel you have to check in at another hotel. The veiw was wonderful you could see downtown gatlinburg and all the christmas lights.
on line said a gas fireplace and it was only a cheap electric one. also on line showed a nice fire pit, there was none. we also had to go to another location to check in and check out. the on line review of the property was very misleading.
Nikki the receptionist was the mist amazing and friendly person ever !!! Thank younfor the talks about sherbert the bear 🐻

Very clean and pleasant. Our shower don’t work but the hot tub and bathtub were good. The smell of weed our 2nd night, we decided to leave a day early. You could hear the people walking loudly above us but that is expected in most places.
Room was not clean. Got up to the hotel to be told you have to walk about 6-8 minutes to a different hotel to check in. Room had a funky smell. Would not stay again was not worth what we paid.

The hotel sounds great - The Fabulous Chalet Inn. The hidden part is - owned by Econolodge. While this hotel does have decent sized rooms with views of Gatlinburg, the essence of Econolodge still rings true with cheap amenities and room fixings. The staff is nice tho so that’s a perk.
My wife and I go to Gatlinburg every year and always choose a different, smaller hotel. This was our favorite so far! Very clean and convenient, nice atmosphere, we will be back!

The people were nice, the area was good, but the room wasn’t great. They seemed to have very few customers and the room was a little jank. Definitely a good place if you’re on a budget, the bathroom was even pretty good, however the door frame was broken, the room had a old smell, and the lamps were very crusty and old looking. The walk to the room was weird too. It was kinda sketch tbh. Not very romantic. They also said that there are bears that visit that area very often, so be weary of that if you have kids especially.
We love the convenience of this place and stay at least once a year. It’s quirky and not super modern, but is charming, clean, and convenient. The service is always good, this trip was no exception, and we will definitely stay again when we’re in the area.
Very friendly staff, room little out dated in some areas but over all very clean and well stocked with supplies. Woukd stay again Views from our room was amazing.
