"Driving into the neighborhood of the Cottage made us feel at home. The property is very inviting and cozy. The inside of the cottage is bright and welcoming. The kitchen is perfect size for the 2 of us and everything was cleaned, labeled and ready to use. The bed is very comfortable and the mountain view from the bedroom is amazing! "We fell in love with Wasilla and the ease of getting anywhere from the house. It was still an easy drive to Anchorage to check out top attractions and look for moose. This home is a short ride to several lovely trails and lakes and is on a quiet dead end street. Host was easy to reach with quick response when I reached out. "Our stay was wonderful! Not only was this house close to the ice rink and town but it was also very spacious. Plenty of room for everyone in the kitchen or hanging out around the table. The grill worked great for some tasty steaks. The deportation was nice with the adults choosing the two rooms upstairs while the kids stayed downstairs in the two rooms that had twin beds. "4 master bedrooms with private bathrooms and a large kitchen. What else could you ask for? Unbelieveable stocked kitchen with all the staples included. 2 full size refrigerators and 2 washer and dryers We hiked Bodenburg Butte first morning and then hit Independence Mine( still snow covered in Mid May). The Butte hike took about 2 hours and was well worth all the stairs!!! We stayed on top for a half hour enjoying the view Felicia is an an amazing host and quick to reply. We had no issues!!"
