"The staff were all excellent reception. The Gym facilities were great. The Alicantra storm was very good and the stuff were absolutely brilliant apart from the room which I think that should’ve been cleaned every day which they didn’t bother to do so insufficient on water supply but overall I’m still rated five star"

"Beautiful stylish hotel in an excellent location just a couple of minutes walk to the Old Town. We had a beautiful view from our room overlooking the park and canal. On our first night we ate in the hotel’s Snob restaurant and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"What an incredible hotel!!! Everything is new, cute, room is spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. Its location is super convenient and it’s literally where town of Riga was born. Front desk super friendly. We really loved it. Definitely recommend."

"Enjoyed our stay. Booked adjacent/connecting rooms which was perfect for a family travel. Clean and spacious. Room ceilings light is a rarity in most hotels. Having a towel warmer is a very nice touch. There was a water cooler in the hallway for added convenience. Location is perfect right on the edge of the old town. Train station is 10 min away for any day trips. Breakfast variety was excellent. A few notes on improving the stay even further - add a tissue box, add an extra chair or some ottoman for additional seating space, install soft closing toilet seats, bathtub grout can be refreshed."

"Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, and this wasn't my first visit. I have stayed here several times over the past year. The breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of food to choose from, including options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Most of the staff were friendly and polite. However, there were a few issues that affected my experience. Room cleaning was inconsistent. Sometimes the room was cleaned very quickly, and basic things were forgotten, such as emptying the bin or replacing the tea and coffee supplies. During my previous stays, housekeeping was much more thorough, so this was disappointing. The biggest issue was the Wi-Fi. The connection constantly dropped or stopped working completely. We reported this to reception and were told someone would look into it, but unfortunately nothing improved during our stay. Reliable internet is very important, especially for guests who need it for work or communication. Although the staff were generally friendly, there were a few occasions when it felt as though requests for assistance were treated more as an inconvenience than with genuine willingness to help. I hope these issues can be improved because this hotel has always been one of my preferred places to stay, and I would like to continue returning in the future."
